Our Mission

Gospel Treatise is dedicated to sharing inspirational and educational Christian content that helps believers grow in their faith. We strive to create a welcoming environment where Christians can learn, share, and encourage one another in their spiritual journey.

Core Principles

1. Love and Respect

We are called to love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34). All interactions should reflect this love, showing respect and kindness even when we disagree. Personal attacks, insults, or demeaning language will not be tolerated.

2. Biblical Foundation

Content should be grounded in Scripture and align with orthodox Christian beliefs. While we welcome diverse perspectives and interpretations, content that contradicts core Christian doctrines or promotes false teaching will be removed.

3. Edification Over Division

Our goal is to build up the body of Christ. Engage in constructive dialogue that encourages growth and understanding. Avoid divisive rhetoric, inflammatory statements, or content designed to provoke conflict rather than promote unity.

4. Truth and Integrity

Honesty and accuracy are essential. Cite sources when referencing external material, and ensure that claims are verifiable. Misinformation, false claims, or deceptive content will be removed.

Content Guidelines for Authors

Article Content

  • Articles should be original, well-researched, and provide value to readers
  • Content must be appropriate for a Christian audience and align with our mission
  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited - always attribute sources and quotes properly
  • Articles should be well-written, properly formatted, and free from excessive errors
  • Include accurate citations and references when discussing theological or historical topics

Images and Media

We encourage using image links (URLs) for featured images and media content whenever possible, as this helps reduce server storage and ensures proper attribution to original sources.

  • Prefer image links: Use URLs to publicly available images on the internet when possible
  • Image uploads: Only upload images when the image is not available on the public internet (e.g., original photos, custom graphics, or images you own that aren't hosted elsewhere)
  • Always ensure you have the right to use any image you link to or upload
  • Provide proper attribution for images when required by the source or license
  • Respect copyright and intellectual property rights - only use images you have permission to use

Prohibited Content

  • Content promoting false doctrine or heretical teachings
  • Material that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence
  • Spam, self-promotion, or commercial content unrelated to our mission
  • Copyrighted material used without proper permission or attribution
  • Content that is sexually explicit, profane, or inappropriate
  • Political content that is divisive or unrelated to Christian faith and practice

Comment Guidelines

Comments are a space for thoughtful discussion and encouragement. When commenting:

  • Be respectful and considerate of others' perspectives
  • Engage with the content thoughtfully - add value to the conversation
  • Disagree respectfully - you can challenge ideas without attacking people
  • Keep comments relevant to the article or discussion
  • Avoid spam, self-promotion, or off-topic discussions
  • Do not share personal information or contact details publicly

Moderation and Enforcement

Our moderation team works to maintain a healthy community environment. We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these guidelines
  • Edit or reject articles that don't meet our standards
  • Warn, suspend, or ban users who repeatedly violate guidelines
  • Take action on content that may be harmful, even if not explicitly prohibited

Reporting Violations
