The Lost Beauty
Susan is such a beautiful girl. Everyone looks at her twice and admires the beauty she is. Susan knows she is beautiful but she is unaware that beauty fades away if not properly managed. She is mismanaging her beauty and her life, and it really bothers me because, unlike her, I know she is likely to look back and wish she had managed her life better. It is quite unfortunate how being young enters people's heads to the extent that they ruin their own lives. I have seen many who were once seen as angels, but now a life no one wants to behold. The once beautiful life has been mismanaged. Don't be like Susan.
Donald is such a strong and agile young man. He behaves as if he is unaware that he won't be young forever. Donald is doing all kinds of things today, without regard for what those behaviors mean for his future. You look out for him despite his arrogance and harmful behavior, you feel great pity for him but Donald is completely unaware that his life passing away and soon he may become both without strength, without freedom, and without friends. It is disheartening how many young people focus all their energy on the wrong things as if there is no tomorrow. There is tomorrow and you must think of it today so you won't end up like Donald.
Ammy has consistently been recognized as the most intelligent person in the school. In almost all the subjects, Ammy is always topping the class. Unfortunately for him, he mistook being intelligent as being wise. Despite his great mental prowess, Ammy has consistently made bad decisions in his life. It was difficult to correct him, he listens to no one because he thinks he knows it all. Soon Ammy will discover that life is not mathematics and physics. There is more to life and being successful in life is beyond passing your school exams. The great intelligence that was supposed to lead him to greatness, has become the greatest undoing of Ammy's life. Life is delicate and principled, therefore choose not to be like Ammy.
Davido is the campus Man of God. They call him the apostle and some also address him as the prophet. He bears many big names within and outside the fellowship and everyone respects both his knowledge of the Bible and his charisma when he preaches. He is such a blessed young man but he is about to hit the rock because he no longer pays attention to godly principles. He has begun to use the respect they are giving him to take advantage of both sisters and brothers, especially the younger ones. Sometimes he lies to motivate people. He thinks he has arrived, but he is likely to look back and discover that he is such an empty vessel. God gave him a precious opportunity to lead/serve but he is mismanaging it. Be Careful when you're in a position of honor. Be careful not to jeopardize your future because of a temporary sense of success. Be careful not to destroy yourself like Davido.
Cynthia began to make money when she was still very young. She is a hardworking and highly successful entrepreneur. Everyone respects her because of her wealth but Cynthia is beginning to mismanage her life as a result. She thinks the only thing that matters in life is money. She has no respect for anyone, no respect for many important principles of life, and no respect for authority. Riches are good, but when not well managed, they can easily ruin someone's life. God no longer means anything to her. She believes everyone and everything can be bought, but little did she know she was digging her own grave of destruction. It is one thing not to have a privilege, it is another thing to have one and mismanage it. Refuse to mismanage your life.
'People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades.' (1 Peter 2:24).
'Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, 'Life is not pleasant anymore.' (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
'But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.' (1 Corinthians 2:27)
'Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.' (Luke 16:10)
'So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?' (Luke 16:10)
'Wealth can vanish in the wink of an eye. It seems to grow wings and fly away like an eagle in the sky.' (Proverbs 23:5)
What you are today is the best gift you can have. Determine to use it to your advantage instead of ruining your life because of it. You are such a beautiful soul, please try not to lose your beauty.
